Our Assistant Principal Steve

Sorry I've been absent for awhile. I've been battling a cold virus here and have been feeling pretty lousy.

It's always a pleasure to report when something good happens here at my school. Our new assistant principal this year, Steve, has really made this a good year. He started out a little rough, but like any great educator he quickly learned from his mistakes and is now an excellent administrator. Steve is one of those people who seems to actually care about the teachers and students. He always has a cheerful disposition. I know it sounds corny but people enjoy it when he enters a room. Steve has an easygoing manner that puts everyone at ease. He is a bright spot to the day here and I hope I get to continue to work with him when the school reduces its size and sends some of its staff to the new high school. He adds a lot to the teaching environment and I would greatly miss working with him if we have to part ways next year. You have the feeling that you can always go into Steve's office and talk with him about anything. I wish we had more people like him.
