Karen Visits My Biology Class

The SO Karen, St. Augustine's city chemist, visited my Biology class today and gave a talk on water chemistry testing.

I invited all interested people to pop in but unfortunately none of the other teachers or administrators appeared. It's a shame because they missed a great lesson. The kids were very enthusiastic and asked quite a few questions as well as volunteered to help out with the demonstrations.

Karen's coworker Pam helped set up the equipment and assisted her.

Karen and the students ran a number of interesting chemical and biological tests. It gave the students some insight on what real scientists do for a living.
