Sebastian, AKA "Little Old Man"

Here is a nice shot of our little old man Sebastian. He is 10 years old now and was rescued while eating from the dumpster behind my wife's lab. He is a tiny little guy and fits very nicely in the kitty playhouse. The other furkids here are too big now to get inside.

On a different note, the A/C in my room is fixed for now and doing great. The bad news is that the A/C is now down for about half of our upstairs rooms and the classes there feel like a tropical jungle. According to an email "they are working on it." I am just going to enjoy my room's cool air while it lasts.

Gabriella Is Doing Great!

We met Gabriella's foster mom when she took her back to the vet to have her stitches removed. She has decided to keep Gabriella permanently! I was very impressed by her empathy and caring nature so I am certain that Gabriella has found a terrific home. Gabriella is already a lap cat and is somewhat spoiled. She has doubled her weight and looks very healthy. When I took her for petting she cried for her mom until I returned her. Gabriella had no fear of the vet's room, exploring and sniffing around. She is a very fortunate kitty to have found such a loving family.

We were cleaning out the water bowl and Ellen took advantage of it by hopping inside. I think I'm beginning to see a pattern in her behavior! It was a great photo op so I grabbed the camera.

The Little Princess

I was originally going to show you photos of our dissection of the sheep brain but since it's the Christmas season I decided to nix that idea. Also, I am sick of teaching at this time of the year and would like to think about anything but facing the munchkins, as nice as they are this term, for another week. Instead here is a photo I took of Princess. She loves to lie on shoes and purses. I think she has a fetish about it because she sticks her head deep inside shoes and keeps it there for minutes at a time. This is one very odd, but cute, furkid.
