Snip!!!

I've been off the internet for a day. Last night I suddenly was unable to connect to the web. Several hours later and numerous diagnostic tests and I could find nothing wrong with the modem, computer, or connectors. I finally decided to reinstall the modem software but first I wanted to reconnect all of the cables just in case I missed something. That's when I noticed the loose wire from the modem to the wall plug. I pulled on it and half of it popped up through the cable protector. The wire had a perfect cut through it about halfway down the wire, hidden by the protector from view. Our little bunny Peter had apparently managed to get past the barriers, find a small area where the protector was not covering the wire, and snipped the wire. Here is the humorous email I got from a fellow bunny owner:

Viscount Peter - 1, DSL cable modem - 0.
