The Blasted Rosacea Strikes Again

It's been months since I've had a rosacea flareup. Yesterday I noticed my neck and shoulders getting a little pink so I put some calming cream on. Today my face suddenly flared up big time. It looks like a rather bad case of sunburn on my cheeks and forehead. I'm into full treatment mode with chamomille liquid, aloe vera, and creams. I hate it when this happens because it usually takes a week or two to get it under full control again. Oh well. Maybe some day they will develop an actual cure for the flushing. It could be worse. At least I just have the scalded look and no papules or worse symptoms. It looks horrible but doesn't really bother me except for the appearance. I guess I'll be using some of the green stick concealer tomorrow when I go to school. It doesn't heal the redness but it does smooth out the blotchy redness and hides about half of the red color.

I used to have bouts with that when I was on a seizure medication years ago. The only thing that really seemed to get it under control quickly was a product from Aveda called "balancing infusion oil".
