Norah Jones
When I've had a particularly stressful teaching day I usually put on a Norah Jones CD or DVD. I first discovered Norah back when her band was giving free concerts at libraries in New York. She has one of the most beautiful voices of any living female singer. Her songs are guaranteed to put you in a tranquil, mellow mood. I especially suggest the "Live In New Orleans" DVD for first timers listening to her. Try Norah the next time you come home with that feeling you want to just choke someone!

I know what you mean. I like her CDs too. I saw her in concert once and man oh man she and the band were just GREAT!
